- Please let us have a rough arrival time so we can be here to welcome you.
- Yes we do have wifi throughout.
- On entering our gate head round to the right to find the front door.
- Tea and coffee facilities are in your room as well as the kitchen and available throughout your stay.
- Feel free to bring other food and drink and store it in the fridge.
- Use the kitchen if it can go in the dishwasher that's great otherwise there is fairy liquid.
- Breakfast is served up to 9 o'clock - later breakfasts will depend on our availability.
- If you would like to go for a walk just ask for routes, the Oxford canal does run through the village so you don't always need a map but we do have them.
- We have an iron and ironing board just ask.
- If you need to do washing we have a machine and dryer, again just ask.
- The garden is free for you to sit in or walk around, there is also a croquet set and possibly badmington.
- We have 3 mountain bikes that can be borrowed.
- There is a train station in the village with trains every couple of hours to Oxford and Banbury - not Sundays in the winter.
- We do take all major credit cards except Amex.

- The Bell, Lower Heyford - Sausage and and pie menu
- The Red Lion, Steeple Aston - New management, good reports.
- The Oxford Arms, Kirtlington - Consistent good reports
- The Killingworth Castle, Wootton - Gone a little up market so you'll pay a bit more but good quality
- The White Horse, Duns Tew - Consistently good and only one open 7 days
- The Horse and Groom, Caulcott - Husband and wife team, never had a bad report
